Namibia has a new president and for the first time, she is a woman. Netumbo Nandi-Nndaitwah was sworn in this Friday at Windhoek, the country’s capital, after disputed elections last November. Several African heads of state made the trip to attend the event. Among them, the presidents of South Africa, Angola, and that of Tanzania, a country also led by a woman.
