In Côte d’Ivoire, the National Assembly adopted, Wednesday, March 19, a new law to better monitor the functioning of civil society organizations. This law makes it possible in particular to control the creation and functioning of civil society organizations to fight, among other things, against money laundering. But this new law, which must now be adopted by the Senate to enter into force, is widely criticized, because they are deemed liberticide.
