According to a document from the German Ministry of Finance, the German Government, seen by Reuters, the German government is planning an extra, about EUR 3 billion, for Ukraine.
According to Reuters Joerg Kukies has already informed the Parliamentary Budget Committee of the extra weaponry package.
Previously receding Chancellor Olaf Scholz Had denied the extraction of an additional weapon package without the reforms of state debt -related laws.
Yesterday, the German Parliament approved historical changes to these laws, opening the fairways for the extraordinary debt of defense and infrastructure.
Kallas wants to switch from a gun packet to cannon shooting
The high representative of the EU’s external relationships Kaja Kallas says he intends to leave his earlier initiative for the time being that EU countries committed themselves to supporting Ukraine for 20-40 billion with a key arrangement this year.
According to Kallas, the initiative has not received sufficient support from, among other things, the southern Member States of the Union, and it still requires negotiations.
Instead, Kallas says he is working to accept EU countries that they will deliver two million cannon shoots to Ukraine as quickly as possible. This arms aid would cost about five billion euros.
