In Israel, the extreme right-wing Ben-Gvir’s party returns to the government

Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’nun Likud Party and Itamar Ben-Gvir’in Jewish Power Party in a joint statement announced that an agreement was reached.

The statement said that the agreement was reached during the negotiations of the Jewish Power Party on the return to the Israeli government and the ministers of the party resigning will start their duties again today.

Israeli State Television Kan, Ben-Gvir’s Ministry of National Security, Yitzhak Wasserlauf Najaf and Calilee Development Ministry, Amichai Eliyahu Heritage Ministry and MPs Limor last Har-Melech, Zvika Fogel and Yitzhak Kreuzer will return to their duties in various committees.

Following the resignation of Ben-Gvir, Tourism Minister Haim Katz, who was temporarily brought to the Ministry of National Security, was recorded again in the seat of the Ministry of Tourism.

He resigned when the ceasefire entered into practice

The far-right Ben-Gvir frequently emphasized that he was against the cease-fire and captive exchange agreement in Gaza, and on January 19, when the agreement came into force, he announced that he had resigned from the government with the ministers from the Jewish Power Party.

The Israeli press reported that Prime Minister Netanyahu had negotiations for Ben-Gvir to return to the government.

Ben-Gvir, who made a statement from the X account after Israel disrupted the ceasefire this morning, started the attacks on the Gaza Strip, expressed his satisfaction with the start of the attacks.
