– Gradually it goes in the right direction, says national team doctor Rickard Noberius to Sportbladet.
She fell into a downhill during a workout the day before the World Cup sprint in Trondheim. Linn Svahn25, a concussion suffered and tragically had to go home from Norway before the championship even started. It has now been two weeks since the accident.

How has it been for her for the past two weeks?
– Gradually it goes in the right direction. It has really been after expectation. Then you can never say how long it takes for the individual, he says, explaining what is waiting for Linn now:
– The plan is for us to continue with a very accurate rehab for her to come back as soon as possible in full training and full activity to be able to charge for the next season. It is our focus and there is Linn completely on the same course.
Linn Svahn’s new goals for the future
It was not the first time that an injury prevented or affected Linn Svahn in a championship. During the World Cup in Oberstdorf 2021 she suffered from a shoulder injury. The Olympics in Beijing the following year she missed due to surgery. She also felt the damage during the World Cup in Planica 2023.
– But then, she is a refined girl. She has been involved in these bangs before and she is wonderfully good at handling it in a professional way I think. Then it is clear that she would have liked to be there and show what she is going for. Sometimes you can’t decide how things should be with such things and then you just have to accept it and start from the situation you have, says Rickard Noberius.

Linn has accepted where she is somewhere in the process now and looks forward to the Olympics in Milan/Cortina 2026.
– She has well -set goals with the Olympics next year and it has not changed based on this. She had been focused on the Olympics whether this had happened or not. So that is the next goal in the next coming season. So it has not really changed when it comes to it, he says.
Frida Karlsson and Jonna Sundling will miss
The Sports Bible also asks Rickard Noberius how it goes for Frida Karlsson25, and Jonna Sundling30, which seems to miss the last World Cup weekend in Lahti because of a groin injury and a cold respectively. It is already clear that they are over the sprint in Tallinn on Wednesday.
What does it look like for Frida?
– There I have no comments at present
Jonna then? Could it be relevant for any of them to compete in Lahti?
– Yes, but Jonna has a cold and we will see how it develops. So I can’t say more than that at present.
