A woman in her 70s died this summer, since she crashed with a police car during call. Now the preliminary investigation against the police is being re -addressed, reports SVT News Örebro.
The accident occurred at an intersection in central Örebro at the end of July. The police who drove the police car have been investigated on suspicion of causing another’s death and carelessness in traffic.
The preliminary investigation was closed in the absence of evidence – but is now taken up again.
“When reviewing the case, I believe that the decision basis is insufficient,” writes prosecutor Mikael Björk, at the Prosecutor’s Office’s development center, in the decision.
