Former NHL back has died in tragic accident-was only 45 years old

Former NHL back Tomas Kloucek Have died in a ski accident, just 45 years old.

“We have been hit by sad news. Tomas Kloucek has died after a tragic accident … We send the family and his loved ones a lot of strength and our condolences,” writes his former Czech club Trinec at X.

The nasty accident

According to information in Czech media, Kloucek died after driving into an electric pole in a ski slope in the Czech ski resort Spindleruv Mlyn.

Kloucek made a total of 114 NHL matches in New York Rangers, Nashville and Atlanta. He ended up with ice hockey 2017.
