In the summer of 2022, Mulenga came into contact with technical director Jordy Zuidam. “He had a plan for the FC Utrecht staff. He wanted a trainer who specializes in defending, someone for the midfielders and someone for the attackers.” Since then, Mulenga has been working at FC Utrecht as, as described on the club’s website, individual trainer.
