SMHI has issued a yellow and orange warning for hard winds in the mountains. The warning applies to western Norrbotten and Västra Västerbotten counties and Jämtland counties.
The warning has been issued from 15.00 on Tuesday and the wind is expected to subside during Wednesday night.
“From Tuesday afternoon western wind with very hard wind villages, 21-24 m/s, local storm villages,” writes SMHI.
On some peaks in Norrbottensfjällen it can blow up to 30 m/s, where an orange warning has been issued.
At the southern and northern Bothnian Sea and Northern Kvarken, SMHI has issued a yellow warning for breeze winds.
