Bologna Airport, more than 10.7 million passengers in 2024. In growth, revenues and profits are growing

(Finance) – In 2024 the Guglielmo Marconi airport of Bologna recorded a passenger trafficking higher than 10.7 million, 8.1% more than 2023

Registered consolidated revenues for 166.1 million euros, +14.5% on 2023. Ebitda was also increasing ( +25%) reaching 55.1 million euros. The consolidated profit is also growing for 24.4 million euros against 16.7 in 2023 (+46.3%).

In the last year, the airport has made investments for 42.6 million intended for the expansion and improvement of the infrastructure and the environmental sustainability supported by operating cashflow.

The Board of Directors proposed the payment of a gross ordinary dividend of € 0.471 per share.

An important result, which continues in the wake of the rapid post pandemic recovery and which as regards Marconi has gone beyond the expectations of sector analysts – commented Nazarene FanCEO and general manager of Guglielmo Marconi Airport of Bologna -. A year that ideally represents the closure of a cycle and the opening of a new one: some important investments have seen a substantial completion with the release of additional capacity and renewal of the spaces available to our customers, with obvious improvements for significant areas of the airport, projecting ourselves in the future that sees a renewed, expanded, technologically advanced and sustainable infrastructure capable of welcoming growing passengers. We will continue in 2025 and in the coming years to carry out our investment program which provides for a total of about 200 million in the four-year period 2023-2026 “.
