A large power outage has darkened most of the Cuban Island State on a local time on Friday night. The Cuban Ministry of Energy tells about this on social media.
– At around 8.15am, the fault has caused a significant power outage in western Cuba and, as a result, overthrow the national power grid, said the Ministry of Energy.
Authorities investigate the cause of the power outage in the capital and investigate the extent of the power grid disorder, says Cuban State Media.
At the end of last year, Cuba suffered from several major power outages. Expired power grid has been burdened by fuel shortages, hurricanes and economic crisis.
