In 2022, the RRR action spectacle caused a sensation far beyond India and was even awarded an Oscar for the best song. The success was not entirely surprising.

One day Sivudu overcomes the borders of the valley and discover the outside world. He is attracted by Avanthika (Tamannaah Bhatia), a brave rebel guide. She is part of a mission to the mother of the legally throne successor to free from the captivity of a despotic ruler. Sivudu joins the fight.

The story sounds very simple, but in the two -part adventure, a struggle of good against evil develops from this. Huge battles of the format of one of the lords of the rings should of course not be missing, but the most entertaining is the mix of man-to-man action and romantic adventure.
The main actor Prabhas, who plays several figures, guides a hero, which is extremely charismatic, but also winking through the twists, flirts and flashbacks. The two Bahubali films take themselves and their muscular stretches seriously enough to keep you happy, but are inspired by a light-footed adventure spirit (and a bit of singing).
