(Finance) – The hypothesis that AIRBALTIC may listen to the London stock exchange in the second quarter 2025. The news follows the acquisition by Lufthansa of a convertible action, which corresponds to the participation of 10% in the airline for a value of 14 million euros.
In the presence of an initial public offer, Lufthansa will be able to exchange the convertible action in ordinary action. Martin Gauss, CEO of Air Baltic, spoke of potential hypothesis on the sidelines of the presentation of the 2024 results.
Air Baltic, which operates on a fleet consisting of 50 Airbus Airbus A220-300 aircraft, closed with an annual record turnover, which corresponds to about 748 million euros and a growth of 12% compared to 2023. However, it recorded a net loss of 118 million euros.
