Diablo 4 has big plans with the upcoming Season 8. Some of the most important systems are changed: bosses, leveling and endgame. The first players have already tested the season on the PTR and the opinions on the changes … mixed.
That changes with Season 8:
In our hub we have summarized all information about start, patch notes and content for Season 8 for you.
Season 8 is really that difficult: At the moment, Season 8 is running on the public Testrealm (PTR) of Diablo 4.. A user on Reddit is already writing: Leveling now takes much longer than is significantly harder than usual.
Diablo expert Wudijo also confirms the impression in his video on YouTube. He says that even with the top builds from Season 7, which the agony 4 simply got off there, he can now only play the highest difficulty with difficulty and need, and that is also more evident. Wudijo says:
I think we will see many of these builds that are simply not good enough to master Torment 4. And in the future we will see people who stay in Qual 3. Qual 4 is no longer the goal for many people and certainly not accessible for builds that are not top animals. […] Everything is now much harder. I think that’s something good, nothing bad.
Wudijo
In addition to the already higher difficulty, bosses are now again a separate harder. Where the hardest battles in Season 7 and previously part of the one -shots were, even the best builds could no longer do enough damage for such a way and would have to play mechanics, explains the expert.

“Woe, we need Torment 4”
Wudijo further explains that in Season 6 and 7 it went into the final game that you had nothing more to do in early than just pushed higher mine levels. There was nothing left to achieve.
The change is mixed in the community. Some players on Reddit think that the endgame is actually the content of Diablo and that leveling should go quickly. Others, like Wudijo, see that higher difficulty ensures that there are longer goals that can be followed.
However, some users accomplish that Qual 4 may no longer be a prerequisite for the season trip (via Reddit). You currently have to complete activities for Quality 4 to get the flying raven companion. If this is no longer possible for everyone, a cool reward suddenly only to get for the elite can be obtained.
Season 8 is still in the test, accordingly all current changes are not final and can still be adjusted. In addition, it could change significantly how exactly you develop cosmetics and Co., because Rod Fergusson apparently has plans here: Diablo boss finds Battle Passes “outdated”, teased something new for Diablo 4
