Panic in Moldova Explosions brought fear of war

Former Soviet Moldova convened its security council Tuesday after explosions took place in the Russian-backed separatist Transnistria region, located on the western Ukrainian border, about 80 kilometers from the Moldovan capital Chisinau. Explosions occurred in the separatist zone at the security ministry on Monday and at a radio tower on Tuesday morning. No one was injured in the incident, which occurred due to Orthodox Easter.
