During the fourth stage Thursday, March 13, the Dutchman Olav Kooij won the sprint.
Jonas Vingegaard being present in Paris Nice, a new winner will be crowned during the Tirreno Adriatico 2025. Simon Yates of the Visma Lease A Bike, winner of the event in 2020, will be the leader of the Dutch team for this week.
Beautiful people are engaged on Italian roads with Simon’s brother, Adam Yates and Juan Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates XRG) who will be part of the favorites for the final victory. Tom Pidcock (Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team), Mikel Landa (Sudal – Quick Step), Richard Carapaz (EF Education Easypost) and Pello Bilbao (Bahrain Victorious) will be the other candidates for victory. We will also follow the Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin Deceuninck) attraction which will aim for one or more stages victories. He will notably have to face the competition from Jonathan Milan (Lidl – Trek), the best sprinter on this start to the 2025 season with Tim Merlier.
For the fourth stage, between Norcia and Trasacco, 190 kilometers long, the stage was played in the last meters since the escape was very cruelly taken up 400 meters from the finish line and it was the Dutch Olav Kooij of the Visma Team which has imposed itself at everyone’s surprise.
