Putin visited the Kursk area Brief news

Russian president Vladimir Putin He visited the Kursk region for the first time on Wednesday after Ukraine had taken over the areas last year.

Putin visited the Russian Forces Command Center. General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valeri Gerasimov told Putin that the Russian troops have surrounded the Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region.

Gerasimov said in a scene on Russian television that Russia had captured 430 Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region. Putin said they should be treated as terrorists, says AFP.

Putin ordered that Russian troops should release the entire Kursk area as soon as possible.
