Pension Authority’s requirements: Four action

The suggestions on what measures you want to see are divided into four areas:

The Pension Authority believes that today there are challenges in a pensioner collecting current housing supplement. These include challenges with where the information is located. Therefore, they want to increase their own collection of documentation according to their own vision on declaration concepts.

In order for the Pension Authority to reach the goal of “right from the beginning” and thus have a greater effect on the work that is done to counteract the incorrect payments, simplified rules for housing allowance are needed.

Extended collaboration between authorities:

The pension authority wants a pensioner who is registered in Sweden despite the actual residence abroad is a source of incorrect payments. Therefore, according to them, it is necessary to increase collaboration between different authorities in order to have access to the right information from the beginning.

“In our case, the recovery is often a little larger because our payments extend over longer”.
