Pollution only 17 of global cities comply with WHOs recommendations

According to a study on air quality published Tuesday, March 11 by the Swiss company IQAir, with the support of Greenpeace, only 17% of the cities studied in 138 countries had an air in 2024 which respected the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) in terms of fine particles (PM2.5). It is better than the 9% of 2023, but a pure air remains a rare commodity.
