First big race of the year in France, Paris – Nice set off this Sunday, March 9.
Before Milan San Remo and the major Flanderian classics of April, Paris – Nice 2025 began this Sunday, March 9 and kicks off the first big stages races on the UCI calendar. For this new edition of the sun race, we will see for the first time in France, the French Julian Alaphilippe in his new colors of the Swiss team Tudor of Fabian Cancellara. It will also be the first real official outing of Danish Jonas Vingegaard who will be a big favorite alongside Matteo Jorgenson, holding the title. Brandon McNulty, Joao Almeida, Santiago Buitrago, Aleksandr Vlasov, Ben O’Connor, Felix Gall, Romain Bardet and Guillaume Martin are also announced in this 83rd edition, while Mads Pedersen and Tim Merlier will be expected on the sprints.
