A person in the district of Råby in Västerås was taken by ambulance to hospital after being injured by a cancellation weapon in an apartment, police announced on their site.
The police are now investigating it as attempted murder.
The person’s injuries are described as serious, but according to the hospital, the situation should be stable, the police write.
A suspected offender was pointed out by witnesses and could be arrested on site. The police received the alarm at 17.45 as a suspected abuse.
According to the police, the plaintiff and the suspected offender must be familiar with each other since before.
