Donald Trump introducing customs on steel and aluminum from Canada

The United States introduces 50 percent tariffs on all steel and aluminum from Canada, President Donald Trump announces at Truth Social.
At the same time, he again expresses his desire for Canada to become US 51st state.
“That would mean that all customs tariffs, and everything else, completely disappear”.

Customs will come into force tomorrow, Wednesday, according to Trump.

The decision is a response that the Canadian province of Ontario raised the tax on exported electricity to the United States by 25 percent. It affects about 1.5 Americans in Michigan, Minnesota and New York.

Doug Ford, provincial leader in Ontario, has also opened to completely stop electricity exports to the United States.

“I will soon announce a national emergency for the electricity in the threatened areas. This will enable the United States to quickly do what it takes to alleviate this threat from Canada, ”Trump writes.

Can raise car dolls

At the same time, he threatens that on April 2 “significantly raise” customs on cars from Canada if the neighboring country does not abandon other “incredible and long -lasting” tariffs.

In addition, Trump again repeats his desire for Canada to become part of the United States.

“The only reasonable thing is that Canada becomes our 51st state. That would mean that all customs tariffs, and everything else, completely disappear ”.
