In a post on X commented Elon Musk A message from the Senator Mike Lee Who wrote “Exit NATO Now!”. Musk responded by agreeing, explaining that there is no point in the United States continuing to pay for the defense of Europe.
This is not the first time Musk expresses the same opinion. On March 1 this year he wrote that he agreed with one Post which urged the United States to leave both NATO and the UN. Musk has long questioned US international commitment and priorities in defense alliances.
Also Donald Trump Recently expressed that the United States will not defend NATO countries that do not pay enough for their own defense.
