In 2020-2024, Ukraine became the world’s largest weapons importer, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute Siprin from the report.
During the period, Ukraine was the only country in Europe among the ten largest weapons, although many other European countries significantly increased the import of weapons.
According to Sipr, the armed figures reflect the military equipment of European states in response to Russia’s threat.
