Back jumping: Entits the scandal: “Completely broken”

Most of it had pointed out that Marius Lindvik had taken silver in a large hill on Saturday in the back jumping World Cup in Trondheim. At the same time, Johann Fofang finished fifth in the same competition.

But later it turned out that the costumes had been manipulated and the duo was disqualified.

– We apologize for not being able to talk to the media after what happened yesterday (Saturday). We are both completely cracked. None of us would have competed with suits that we knew were rigged, never, says the duo in a joint statement according to Norwegian VG.

Sports manager Jan-Erik Aalbu said earlier on Sunday that they have “tried to deceive the system”.

– It’s unacceptable.
