New expansion doubles the number of players of an Amazon MMORPG on Steam, but reviews remain split

Throne and Liberty (PC, PS5, Xbox) is the latest action mmorpg on Steam, which brings out Amazon. The free expansion “Wilds of Taandre” has now been published on March 7th. It revives the crising MMOPRG, but the reviews are divided.

This is how the number of players on Throne and Liberty on Steam develop: The MMORPG from NCSOFT, which Amazon published in the west with a delay of about three quarters of a year after the start in South Korea, was able to collect over 330,000 simultaneous game on Steam for the release in October 2024.

How does the expansion arrive? The recent reviews on Steam of Thronen and Liberty are still rather moderate: with 63 % positive reviews, the online role of “Balanced” is.

In current March 8 reviews, there is still criticism of the combat system and the “Pay2win” aspect of the Korean game.
