In Argentina Bahia Blanca, the number of floods caused by heavy rainfall has risen to 13, the authorities reported on Saturday. On Friday, the authorities reported that 10 people have died and the number of sacrifice was expected to grow further.
At least five of the deaths had died on roads that were in power, possibly stuck in their cars.
Heavy rains started on Friday in Bahia Blanca, about 600 kilometers south of the capital Buenos Aires. In addition, hundreds of people have been evacuated from their homes.
Over eight hours in the city, more than 400 millimeters of water rained, which, according to the authorities, corresponds to approximately one year’s average rainfall.
