Remi Lindholm was seventh in seventh place. Lindholm was already sensitive to his top race and laughed at coaches in other countries.
Remi Lindholm Toned at the Trondheim World Championships on a men’s final trip to cross-country skiing. Lindholm was seventh in the 50km race in the free skiing.
Lindholm popped at the top at 20 kilometers. Later, the five top men got off, but Lindholm was able to catch the top hose during the ski change, but he couldn’t stay with the hose anymore. In the end, however, Lindholm fought for sixth place against Andrew Musgrav, UK and was seventh.
Lindholm said recently that the seventh place was a tough thing. Lindholm was very happy.
– I was feeling sensitized during the race. I had downloaded a lot to this race. I knew we were skiing now for the right good positions. There were tens of thousands of people to watch. Maybe the finest day of my life, Lindholm says.
During the race, Lindholm had wondered how many Finnish skiers have been in such a fierce position for the 50 kilometers of the kingship of the skiing. Lindholm told a funny story about a moment about a conversation with Teemu Pasanen during the race. For example, Lindholm had asked the ski team what Teemu Kattilakoski was in the 2003 World Cup.
– Pasanen shouted back that Kattilakoski was eighth. It was in the last round. Coaching zone (coaches) had ruptured from it. French hubby and others when I had asked, Lindholm revealed.
In the 21st century, 50 kilometers in the World Cup Iivo Niskanen in two six positions as well as Matti Heikkinen bronze at the 2017 World Cup in Lahti.
Lindholm also made familiar fragments when he was made of party plans.
“The biggest parties are ahead, but there were the biggest parties,” Lindholm said.
At least according to his own words, he did not have any more detailed party plans.
– It takes quite a long time for the race venue. Must go for a doping test in a jar. No need to piss in a public place now, Lindholm threw.
So, what are those party plans?
– Sitting on the mask in the room and swirling your thumbs, Lindholm joked.
