The Walking Dead has never dissolved the fate of an entire community – but Macher gives information

The Walking Dead has never dissolved the fate of an

The Walking Dead Staffel 11b ended with a large cliffhanger, far from Daryl, Maggie and our other main characters. Commonwealth-Bösewicht Lance Hornsby attacked the autonomous community Oceanside with his henchmen.

A few months later in February 2023, show runner Angela Kang provided a subsequent explanation for why this cliffhanger was never dissolved – and what in her opinion happened to the characters.

The Walking Dead ignores the Oceanside drama completely in the final

The Oceanside community War Five seasons long Part of the Zombie saga The Walking Dead. In addition to Alexandria, Hilltop, the Kingdom and later the Commonwealth, the Fischerinnen community was not very attractive.

In season 11, Lance Hornsby with his troops marched into all independent communities, including Hilltop and Alexandria. We see that in the last scenes of the episode Oceanside leader Rachel Ward and her fellow campaigners in handcuffs.

This attention was for a community that was barely noticed In the very last Midseason final An interesting choice. It was all the more disappointed that the fate of Rachel (Avianna Mynhier) and the well-known Oceanside face Cyndie (Sydney Park) was never dissolved.

In the episode Faith later, Aaron, Lydia & Co. stumble three later in the forest about the Oceansider Luk and Jules. Luk was originally part of Magas Group. Since Luk actor Dan Fogler was otherwise bound by the schedule, he settled “in Oceanside” and was out of history for a while.

Luk and Jules are the only oceansiders whose fate is dissolved. They explain that they were not in the village when it was attacked and could therefore flee. Unfortunately, The Walking Dead fails to educate us at this point about the rest of Oceanside and the community no longer mentions.

The fate of Oceanside remains in the balance because of “non -predictable circumstances”

Oceanside didn’t let go of a curious fan. In the comments of one of her Instagram post, he asked Angela Kang. And she personally answered him how the figures are:

First she explains why Oceanside was left out:

Originally we wrote a scene for oceanide in the finalbut we had to delete them from unexpected circumstances. (Sometimes something happens in productions)

Angela Kang also reveals What in your opinion happened to the characters:

It is not confirmed that they are dead. (…) Oceanside is a port community and the figures were often on long fish and sail expeditions to explore and hunt. I think that has Cyndie During the Commonwealth attack. Wing led the fight against the attack.

So we can guess that a large part of Oceanside has survived. Since Angela Kang officially declares not to be dead in Oceanide, everyone can think about their end of their dream.
