A 61-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after she was hit on Thorman Terrace, a street in the city’s north end, early in the morning on March 29, police said. The driver remained at the scene, and investigators do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor, police said at the time, adding a vehicle parked on the street was damaged in the collision.
After an investigation by the St. Thomas police traffic reconstruction team, the 42-year-old woman was charged with careless driving causing bodily harm, police said Monday.
