AI is used today for many practical things, but also to find all kinds of unusual information.
Are you looking to shine in a company, but are not ready to pay several hundred euros to know how to express yourself correctly? Artificial intelligence may be there to help you.
Increasingly anchored in our society and our daily life, AI is nourished by multiple web pages, documents and studies to provide its responses to users. If artificial intelligence can be very practical to get answers to some of our questions, other users have thought of using it to get information to say the least … incongruous.
This is how the Spanish information site Lanacion has embarked on a small game: asking the artificial intelligence what are the most commonly used expressions by the least intelligent people. Note that these results do not come from nowhere, but that the site used Google AI, Gemini, to obtain answers. The sources are also multiple with, for example, a study by the University of California or an article from the Psychology Today site.
The first expression most used by people with low IQ would be “great”. An expression used far too many times to describe something without really going into details and that would mark a certain lack of critical thinking to describe something that we want to share.
Another expression that often comes up in conversations with little intelligent people would be “basically”. This expression is rather poorly seen when you think you can express themselves with someone intelligent and talkative, since it tends to roughly summarize a subject of conversation. The person using it could not sufficiently develop their thinking and use it too frequently to summarize everything.
“Obviously” is another expression that would be much used by people with a weak intellectual daily life. AI specifies that people who often repeat “obviously” or “it is obvious” above all seek to prove that any situation would be too simple to understand for them. This trend could in particular hide a certain lack of understanding on the subject they evoke.
The fourth and last expression is “simply”. Depending on artificial intelligence, using and abusing this expression during your conversations could be a sign of lack of intelligence. By abusing “quite simply”, you risk passing for someone who is only permanently simplifying, then abandoning any too complex or thoughtful thought.
In general, Google’s AI specifies that expressions that seek to summarize a situation can sometimes be attached to a person who has a weak Qi. Expressions like “basically”, “concretely” or “gender” would often be used to avoid approaching complex situations or discussions. Keep in mind, however, that AI can be wrong, as is the studies it uses to provide its responses to users. And that it is only a trend, not an absolute truth.
