Lamine Dieng fell in love with a Swedish and left her home country Senegal to move to Sweden at the age of 25. In Dakar he had, among other things, been a bank official, pop singer and cartoonist – in Sweden he became a diligently hired actor.
In film, Lamine Diengg could, among other things, be seen in several Beck films, but also in “The Way Out”, “The plot is the father of all the children” and “Popular music from Vittula”.
Between 1989 and 1993, Diengg was involved in Helsingborg City Theater and he also played at the city theaters in Stockholm and Gothenburg as well as on tour with the National Theater. At Dramaten he participated, among other things, in “A Dream Game” in 2007. In 1999, Lamine was a summer host in Sweden’s Radio.
