Postnord, a Swedish -based post company, will give up the letter of letter mail in Denmark at the turn of the year. In the future, the company will focus on package traffic because the number of letters has fallen dramatically, the company writes in a news release.
Other distribution companies will be handled by the Danes’ letter mail.
Post Danmark, a national postal company founded in 1642, was merged with Swedish Post in 2009.
Postnord will continue to distribute letters as usual in Sweden.
