Donald Trump’s administration plans to withdraw the protection status of 240,000 Ukrainians who have moved to the United States since Russia’s invasion in 2022, sources say for Reuters.
The news agency has talked to a high-ranking source in the Trump administration and three other people with insight into the case. According to them, the planned decision could potentially lead to the deportation of Ukrainian refugees being quickly deported.
The decision can come into force as soon as April, according to the News Agency.
