Sweden completely dominates on the women’s side in the ski World Cup.
While Wednesday’s team sprint became a thunder failure for Norway.
Now ski expert Petter Skinstad is attacking his own national team.
The Swedish ski ladies have so far won all four World Cup gold during the Ski World Cup in Trondheim. On Wednesday offered Jonna Sundling and Maja Dahlqvist on a new, blue -yellow show in the team sprint.

The Swedes were completely unstoppable and won a superior World Cup gold, the fourth straight gold medal on the women’s side. And certainly it stings a lot for the Norwegians that the Swedish national anthem is played time and time again in Trondheim.

But in this race, the Norwegians were not even close to a medal and stood for a splendor. Kristine Stavås Skistad and Lotta Udnes Weng Went to a miserable seventh place in the team sprint.
– It was too bad. We underperform and have a bad day both. When both are bad, the result becomes even worse. Simply sad, Udnes Weng tells TV2.
– It was heavy and dark. It is boring and hard when it is such a lovely audience. They earned more, so just apologize, says Stavås Skistad to the TV channel.

Well-known TV2 expert Petter Skinstad Is furious after the race and goes to a harsh attack on his own national team, as he thinks they are tactically away.
– It’s 100 percent wrong selection. Lousy coaching. Team sprint is not a sprint, he says angrily and thinks that the Norwegians just gave up.

The United States took the World Cup silver in the team sprint and Switzerland tricks the World Cup bronze. But the Norwegian expert cannot understand how the Norwegians could be almost a minute after Sweden in goal.
– It’s a complete failure. When you have enough good rider in the squad to be able to compete for a medal, and in the end choose the wrong team, then it is a failure that you never really compete for a medal, says Skinstad in TV2.
– Lotta not only had problems against the world’s best sprinter (Jonna Sundling) on the first stage, but Kristine Stavås Skistad also had no chance at her stage. We should have gone with Heidi Weng and Julie Myhre, or maybe even Astrid Öyre Slind.

– It is clear that we took out the team that we thought would do best. But there are many good runners in our squad, so it is possible that other constellations had done as well or better, but we will never find out, says the Norwegian national team coach Sjur Ove Svarstad in a statement.
– We were convinced that they were best when we took out the team. In retrospect, it is of course easy to see that they did not have a good day, and that we might have thought differently. But this is always the case with team selection.
