A wind turbine at a dump in Kungshamn is on fire.
Burning parts are now flying down from the right power plant.
“We have to block off and keep a suitable distance,” says Björn van der Kaay, alarm and management operator at the rescue service in Greater Gothenburg.
A wind turbine is burning in Sotenäs municipality.
– We have a fire in an engine, but we don’t do much there right now. It still spins so we keep away, says Björn van der Kaay.
According to the rescue service, it also burns in one of the wings, but since the wind turbine is so high, you cannot start any extinguishing work.
– It’s very high, things fall down so you can be damaged. We can block off and keep a suitable distance, says Björn van der Kaay.
P4 West writes that at lunchtime, burning parts have begun to fall from the power plant, which is remote. Therefore, there is no danger to the public and the risk of spreading is considered non -existent.
