The Trump administration’s policy has caused several to talk about a new world order that is emerging, where the United States is no longer an obvious part of the West.
According to information to SVT and several media, Trump is expected to announce to pause all support for Ukraine. Ulf Kristersson says in the morning studio that it is serious.
– This means that Ukraine loses a number of things that are important to them. They are missing out far from everything and it is not that everything is irreplaceable. But it is undoubtedly a break.
He continues later:
– A peace that is forced in Ukraine with poor conditions It is an incredibly risky peace that only gives room for Russia to come back again. There are strong reasons for us in the rest of Europe to stick to our support and help Ukraine.
“There will be constant plays”
This week, the talks between the United States and Ukraine collapsed after Zeleskyj’s visit to the White House. Kristersson says he felt a “measure of murder” when he saw the meeting between the leaders.
– All of us who have talked to Zelenskyj know that they are struggling around the clock to survive as a nation, so I feel a little discouragement about this.
