The developers plan patch 6.1 for Total War: Warhammer 3. One of the original factions from the third part gets a complete re -work. The developers “want to make a new beginning” and therefore change everything the faction has so far changed.
What kind of game is that?
Which faction is it about? The people of Kislev are adapted to the cold north and owe to their “motherland” that they can survive in the cold at all. Accordingly, you are all about frost and ice cream – and of course you ride on polar bears.
Kislevites are known for their religious devotion to faith in their homeland and their fanatical struggle against the powers of chaos. In the war they are dangerous opponents who fight with saber, ax and pistol and produce powerful magicians.
In Total War: Warhammer 3 was Kislev as one of the original factions in the game and has not changed significantly since then. At that time a new legendary Kislev commander came through “Shadows of Change”, but otherwise not much happened. Until now.

Creative assembly changes almost everything to Kislev, also gives tzeaentch some love
The two most important mechanics from Kislev are dedication and supporters. In a kind of internal war of faith, two commanders of the parliamentary group fight for supremacy: Kostaltyn with his orthodoxy and Tsarina Katarina with her ice cream courtyard.
With special battles and acts, your trailer collects and thus leads your faith to victory. That delivers certain bonuses. You need dedication, on the other hand, to keep the country stable. If there is too little dedication, the chaos falls into the mother country.
With patch 6.1, however, the systems are completely changed:
In addition, Atamane get a re -work to show that they are governors and not just cool commanders. Settlements with an Ataman can lead their armies against the enemy in a limited area (like a real army), and Atamane gets their own skill stree and a new weapon kit.
Creative Assembly also adapts Kislev’s research tree to be a little more accessible. For example, you no longer have to keep certain cities to unlock appropriate research.
Also included in the update is a smaller revision of the Tzeentch faction. Here Kairos Fate Wirers should have a somewhat more suitable access to magic. You can read more about this in the Total War’s official blog post. The update should be published roughly in mid -March.
Together with the update, you will also get two new units free of charge, one for Cathay and the ogue kingdom. If you have the game in the library anyway, you have a reason with Patch 6.1 to look back in. For everyone else, Total War: Warhammer 3 is an excellent game to get into the world of Warhammer.
