Cross -country skiing: Kläbo’s boot against William Poromaa: “Takes a superior victory”

See Kläbo’s cocky pass in the player above.

It is heated properly for Tuesday’s 10-kilometer race in the Ski World Cup in Trondheim.

Main characters: Johannes Hösflot Kläbo and William Poromaa – but also sick Iivo Niskanen.

It all started during the World Cup weekend in Falun when Niskanen said that William Poromaa was the rider to beat.

Poromaa: “Become ten Petter Northug”

Then Poromaa himself came with a comment after Sunday’s skiathlon where the Swede found that he was disappointed with the pace on the classic part.

“You can almost be backwards and still hang out,” Poromaa told VG.

Two statements that have not landed well with double gold medalist Johannes Hösflot Kläbo.

– I think Poromaa will take a superior victory tomorrow, says the Norwegian during a press conference.

Poromaa himself tones down Kläbo’s play but says at the same time:

– It feels like there has been ten Petter Northug in the Norwegian team in a short time. It’s a bit remarkable, but they can drive on, says the 24-year-old.
