The steel bundle from Tampere leads the final series as early as 3–0. Tappara’s league championship has been in the air since the beginning of March and may be sealed in Turku on Tuesday, writes Sports’ news manager Pekka Aalto.

It takes a lively imagination to figure out how the hockey league season could end in anything other than Tappara’s victory celebrations. The steel bundle from Tampere leads the final series 3–0. Nevertheless, there is still a feeling that of the two teams, Tappara will still be able to improve by a notch or a couple, but the bottom of the TPS lunch box is looming.
From the point of view of the people of Turku, the forecast is further weakened by the fact that it is not a charming charming team but a hell machine that cannot be turned off. It grinds and grinds. It also forges, crushes and shreds.
The signs for Tappara’s league championship were already in the air in the CHL final on March 1st. Although the people of Tampere bowed to Rögle, the team performed more convincingly than they had in years, and did not break even at a fast pace.
During the period, Tappara has accumulated so much currency in his experience bank that the clip will not end immediately. Above all, it has proven to itself whatever style of play it plays.
Tappara is physical, wise, hardworking and efficient. It is starting to have quality words for home use.
Suckers of the joy of life
The ax shirts are now playing in their seventh final series starting in spring 2013. The word dynasty already sounds contemptuous for the club. There is no similar club team at the top level in the whole world.
Tappara’s greatest strength is work ethic. It always has been Kalevi Numminen days.
Ending the season with a championship or a four-place finish, two days after the last game, the Tappara camp asks the same question: what can we do better?
Or rather, this question is already being considered during the season when the teams and backgrounds for the next season will be built.
That is why playing at Tappara for a long time is very heavy. All the heavier is just playing against Tappara.
Quite often, after the games, opponents are left with the feeling that we should have: a) played better, or b) won the game.
Tappara is a master at sucking the joy of life from an opponent. You can control the game, win goal points and sympathy points, but you still lose. It’s a torturous feeling that TPS now has to deal with.
– V-tu can’t, said the boxer Jyri Kjäll once.
The winning goal at Monday’s dawn was a fitting example of this. Tepsi pressed on for a long time until Tappara contrasted. A pair of inputs and Otto Leskinen grabbed the spooky tissue Andrei Karejevin.
