Two people have been shot in Fruängen in southern Stockholm. The police have launched a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons crime.

Police are investigating a suspected gunfire in Norsborg south of Stockholm.
On site, police patrols have found bullet holes in an apartment window.
– Several people were in the apartment, but no one has been physically injured, says police spokesman Per Fahlström.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder.
– There is a great effort in the area. We will block the apartment and conduct a technical investigation, says Fahlström.
The police have no suspected motive for the incident yet.
– We work with a large number of patrols, and also look at our intelligence work if we can find a motive, says Fahlström.

Pope from the sickbed: pray for Ukraine
Pope Francis’s sick state remains stable and on Sunday he made a statement. He thanked his doctors and supporters for all the support – and asked for peace in Ukraine.
“From here, the war appears even more absurd,” the Pope said in the written statement.
Francis also announced that he is experiencing a deep solidarity with people who are sick from the sick bed and suffer around the world.

Syria establishes the Constitutional Committee
Syria’s interim president Ahmed Al-Shara announced on Sunday that a committee of seven people has been convened to produce a proposal for a new constitution during a transitional period.
In a statement from the Damascus presidential office, Al-Shara announced that the Committee should consist of experts, one of which should be a woman with the aim of creating a constitution that regulates how a transition to free elections and democracy should take place.

Police have been alerted to a hotel in Gothenburg where a woman is found bloody in a corridor, the police write on her website.
Police suspect that the woman, who is 25 years of age, has been beaten.
Ambulance has been called to the scene.
A 35-year-old man was arrested when he tried to leave the scene.
– He is suspected of serious abuse. It cannot be ruled out that more headings are added, says police spokesman Hans-Jörgen Ostler.

Northvolts January loss 1.2 billion
The billion losses for crisis battery manufacturer Northvolt continue. In January, the loss was SEK 1.2 billion, according to Dagens Industri, which read court documents in the restructuring process (Chapter 11) that is going on in the United States.
The total debts are close to SEK 88 billion, almost twice as much as the posted assets.
During the period November 21 to December 31, the loss landed at around SEK 3 billion, of which large parts were due to write -downs of the value of assets.

Mars starts with SALE on electricity
In February, an average price of electricity was noted in southern Sweden (electricity area 4) of just over a crown per kilowatt hour (kWh). The monthly price has not been so high since the turn of the year 2022/2023.
The first days of March show a total use.
Sun, wind and heat drive down electricity prices to a few single islands throughout the country.
The average price on Sunday is 2-3 öre/kWh throughout Sweden. On Monday, the price rises slightly, to at most 12 öre/kWh on average in southern Sweden.

“We hear the person in place, he is not from Sweden but from a European country,” says police spokesman Anders Dahlman.
The man is now suspected of violating the Aviation Regulation.

A female skier has been injured so badly at Långfjället in Älvdalen that mountain rescuers are in place together with healthcare providers.
The police write on their website that healthcare providers need to be transported to the scene before the injured person can be transported from there.
Later, the police announce that the woman has been taken to hospital by ambulance.

The police have stopped crime near the Vasaloppet
Two men have tried to get into the tracks at Vasaloppet near the target area.
They have tried to get over a fence and throw things into the tracks.
– We have two residents trying to enter the target area, says police spokesman Anders Dalman.
They are now suspected of violating the Ordinance Act. They are also suspected of violent resistance when they did counter -defense when the police intervened.
The men have now been rejected from the site and a preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Police warns of theft of new appliances
In Östergötland and Södermanland County, there have been several burglaries in newly produced properties.
During the burglaries, the thieves have brought new appliances such as stove, fridge, freezer, washing machines, dryers and in one case also a heating boiler.
The police therefore urge construction companies in the affected counties to review the possibilities for alarms or temporary road bars into the construction areas.
They also urge residents in newly built areas to “have their eyes open”.
