Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor intends to spend ten billion dollars to develop the appropriate artificial intelligence for their products, said the company’s CEO James li on Sunday.

Honor strives to expand from a smartphone manufacturer into a company that produces computers, tablets and other devices with artificial intelligence, Li said in his speech at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

The investment will be made within the next five years.
