You should consider this on the PS5: You can choose between 3 different modes in Monster Hunter Wilds. We present the corresponding settings for you. Monster Hunter Wilds is an action -heavy game, we would therefore recommend that you prefer a high frame rate. However, the disadvantage is that the resolution then looks a bit washed out.

Best settings for the PS5 Pro:

You should note that on the PS5 Pro: The biggest advantages of the PS5 Pro are above all the overall higher resolution and, above all, that you can easily use ray tracing.

Basically, you can deactivate the FPS limit on the PS5 Pro, since the PS5 Pro also creates faster frame rates. With a limited frame rate, about 60 fps, the game runs much more smoothly and stable. In the end you have to decide what you prefer: plenty of FPS or a stable picture.

Further recommended settings for PS5 and Xbox

If you are looking for further, meaningful settings, we can particularly recommend three settings to you, which you should definitely try out or use.

  • brightness down: In the default setting, the image appears very washed out on the PS5 and the Xbox. Therefore reduces the brightness.
  • Switch off motion blur (motion blur): Movement blur can cause motion Sickness, which is why you should switch off the feature. In addition, Motion Blur usually only ensures that the image looks more fluid than it really is. Therefore be sure to deactivate.
  • V-Sync (if necessary): Turn on the function if you do not have a television, the variable refresh rate (VRR) dominates. Otherwise you have the problem that you get image errors when the frame rate fluctuates too much. A prerequisite for VRR is a television that supports HDMI 2.1.
