In Monster Hunter Wilds, frost bags are among the valuable materials that you later need for various equipment. But in contrast to honey or melting stones, frost bags do not find in nature, but instead have to defeat a beast instead: a Hirabami (see cover picture).

Where can you find frost bags? You can only find frost bags at Hirabami. These are big beasts that you can find both in the ice splinter cliffs and in the ruins of Wyveria. You can already fight the Hirabami with a low hunter rank. You therefore do not have to have completed the main story. Hirabami can be found for the first time in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Since the frost bags can be found inside the Hirabami because it is organs, you cannot search the card directly for frost bags. Instead, you have to mark the monsters on the map so that you can then fight them. Since Hirabami are quite large, they can be easily made out on the map.

Tips for fighting Hirabami: Hirabami can fly and hold on to the area with his big cock. The beast uses ice attacks. Objects with ice resistance are therefore advantageous. Otherwise Hirabami has the following strengths and weaknesses:

There is also a chance that your frost bag will receive from a so -called “Target Reward” at the end of the hunt. The chance is “only” 23 %.
