Israel’s decision to stop the introduction of humanitarian aid into Gaza is criticized by the Red Cross and Egypt.

Terror -stamped Hamas and Israel are urged to complete the agreed ceasefire.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdellatty accuses Israel of “using starvation as a weapon”. He says at a press conference that there is no alternative to “fully implementing” the ceasefire that exists.

Abdellatty also urges the EU to put pressure on the parties, “especially the Israeli side”.

The Red Cross also urges Israel and terrorized Hamas to maintain the ceasefire in Gaza.

“The settlement of a ceasefire has saved countless lives and has given hope in the midst of an incredible suffering,” the organization writes in a statement.

The first phase of the ceasefire expired last Saturday. According to the terms and conditions of the agreement, it is not to be resumed while negotiations are ongoing on a second phase in the ceasefire.

While Israel temporarily wants to extend the first phase, Hamas insists that an agreement must rather be reached on a second phase.
