President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan On Saturday, the country’s armed forces would begin a military operation against the Kurdistan Labor Party PKK if the promises made were not held.
“We will continue with the ongoing operations until we have destroyed the last terrorist,” Erdoğan comments at a lunch at Istanbul.
Earlier on Saturday, the PKK declared that he had started a ceasefire with Turkey. PKK’s imprisoned leader Abdullah Öcalan Earlier this week, he urged the organization to lower his weapons.
