When The Clone Wars celebrated its premiere in the summer of 2008, many Star Wars fans asked themselves whether they would ever see the figures newly presented in them in the live action robe. This included primarily Ahsoka Tanowhich became one of the most popular characters in the franchise in the following seasons.

The fan dream came true over a decade later: Ahsoka Tano delivered her live action debut in The Mandalorian. A short time later, her own series received: Ahsoka. So far, it was only seen exclusively at Disney+. Now she is in a physical form in the home theater – together with the Season 3. of The Mandalorian.

Ahsoka Season 1 in Steelbook: The Star Wars series is first released on Blu-ray and 4K UHD

According to the events of the 2nd season of The Mandalorian, the Ahsoka series uses the Mandalorian and builds on the events of The Clone Wars. The animation series Star Wars Rebels also plays an important role. Last but not least, in addition to Ahsoka, figures such as Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla and the unpredictable droid chopper return.

In the course of the eight episodes, Ahsoka is obtained from its own past, which in the form of flashbacks even brings us back to the time of the prequels. In addition, the leap to a completely new galaxy awaits us that we have never seen in the Star Wars universe. A well -known villain is lurking there.

The Steelbook publication of Ahsoka comes up with two 4K UHD discs and two Blu-ray discs, which include all eight episodes of season 1. Among other things, the bonus material includes a look behind the scenes with cast and crew as well as a closer look at the individual figures that occur in the series.

The 3rd season of The Mandalorian also approached a fan dream. After we learned a lot about the warlike arguments on the planet Mandalore in The Clone Wars, we were able to hike through the ruins of the once radiant place with Din Djarin and Grogu for the first time in a real series.

Just like Ahsoka, The Mandalorian continues the legacy of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. The most important figure that appears next to DIN in season 3 is Bo-Katan Kryze. The mandalorian warrior struggles with her legacy and gets into conflict with various parties when recapturing mandalore.

Here, too, the Steelbook publication includes two 4K UHD discs and two Blu-rays, which include all eight episodes of the season. As a bonus, there are features with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni as well as a tribute to the late Carl Weathers. Both steelbooks also come with three concept art cards each.
