In Monster Hunter Wilds you can adapt a lot to your hunter and your Palico – even outside the character editor. We show you what is possible within the game and where you can make the settings.
What can you change in the game? If you are already on tour with your hunter and hunt monsters, you can still change a few things if you are not satisfied with the look. So you can also change individual options to your hunter or Palico without you needing a character edit voucher.
Also, you do not necessarily have to live with the look of your current armor – at least from a certain point in the game. And if it annoys you that you cannot look at the tedious, pretty face of your hunter in the game and in the cutscenes, we have good news: You can hide the helmet at any time and even choose when it should be hidden.
You can read how you do all of this and what is possible here at MeinMMO.

Hide the helmet – complete and in cutscenes
If you are sorry for the face of your hunter’s face constantly covered by a helmet, you can easily change this in two ways:
Here you can then choose whether your helmet should always be displayed, not at all or only in cutscenes. Likewise, you can hide your weapons if they disturb you. You will find the option for one floor higher on the same side.
If you don’t want to go to the settings every time you wear a cool helmet, there is another way, because:
Adjust the appearance of the equipment
You have to live with the equipment that you are wearing up to the high -ranking quests. If you have no problems with the monsters that oppose you, you can also put on what you like for so long.
Or you get so -called decorative equipment from the shop or from the Deluxe Edition that you can put about it. Decorative equipment is something like skins that you can pack purely cosmetically over your worn armor.
As soon as you get to the high -ranking quests, you can also use “normal” armor as a so -called decorative equipment. This allows you to simply put every high -ranking piece of equipment that you forge. So you do not have to do without values ββor optics.
To visually adapt your equipment or your Palico, you go to your tent and choose the item on the last rider. From this point on you can also color your armor. Unfortunately, this is not possible in low -level quests.
Adjust the appearance of the hunter and the palico
However, if you are not satisfied with your hunter or your cat animal, there is also a way within the game to adjust at least a few points again. The options are somewhat limited, but still offer some ways to optimize your character.
You can see the possibilities you have here:
To access these options, simply go to your tent in the warehouse and select the appearance of appearance at the last rider.
You don’t need a character or Palico Edit Voucher for these changes. However, if you want to adjust your appearance, this is required and you have to start adaptation in the character selection.
If you want a complete makeover for your hunter or your Palico, there is cool inspiration in the community. Some players also share so -called design codes for their designs, which you can then use to use them as presets for your own characters. You can read how this works here: Monster Hunter Wilds: This is how you use characters and design codes for your own presets in the character editor
