Marvel Cinematic Universe’s highly anticipated film Fantastic Four: First Stepsis moving towards becoming the longest film in the series. The production, directed by Matt Shakman, will tell the first major screen adventure of Marvel’s first family in MCU. Allegedly, the duration of the film will be 2 hours and 20 minutes, and this leaves the duration of previous Fantastic Four films. Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel’s classic heroes Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) will be subject to a fight against Galactus. The story will take place in the 1960s and allow the heroes to enter MCU.
The film will be longer than the previous Fantastic Four films by 20th Century Fox. The first film in 2005 lasted 106 minutes and the sequel in 2007 was 92 minutes. The reconstruction in 2015 had a 100 -minute period. The 140 -minute period of the First Steps makes it not only the series, but also MCU’s longest films.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the longest film has been Avengers: Endgame for 3 hours and 1 minute. Fantastic Four: First Steps can place 10th in the list of MCU’s longest films with a 2 -hour 20 -minute estimated time.
The film will welcome Marvel fans in cinema halls on 25 July 2025. The other Marvel production Thunderbolts, which will be released in the same year, has the same period.
