Emma Terho has been elected to the Board of Directors of the European Olympic Committees (EOC). Terho was selected as the first Finn for the position. Pesti is four years old.
In his campaign, Terho emphasized the intensification of cooperation between European National Olympic Committees, strengthening EOC events, and participating in athletes in decision -making.
– There must be athletes at the heart of everything. Many of the decisions reflected in Finland are made at international level, and increasing the voice of athletes at each level is central. I am glad that I can continue to influence this influence at European level, Terho emphasizes.
Terho’s season at the International Olympic Committee’s Athlete Committee ends with the 2026 Winter Olympics of the Milan-Cortina.
